About Us
Women Praying For Men (WPFM) is a group of women from different churches and organisations that have been touched by the Lord with the burden to pray for men. The Bible instructs us in 1Timothy 2:1, “I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplication, prayers, intercessions and thanksgiving be made for all men”…
The Vision
Our vision is based on the biblical scripture in Isaiah 58 verse 12 which states that “those from among you shall build the old waste places and you shall raise up the foundations of many generations and you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in“. 1 Timothy 2 verse 1 also states “I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplication, prayers, intercessions and giving thanks be made for all men“.
WPFM feels called by God to fulfil this scripture and to
restore the old waste places
raise up and restore the foundations of many places
It is God’s desire that men are restored to their rightful place of headship. He wants God-fearing boys, young men and mature men to enter the fullness of all he has for them. God is raising fathers to train up and restore the sons, and He is saying that it is time for his sons to arise and take up the ‘tending of the garden’.
WFPM is one of God’s weapons in this spiritual battle for the souls and destinies of men.

Who Are We?
Women Praying For Men (WPFM) is a group of women who want to answer God’s call to women to support our men with prayer so that they can stand strong and fulfil God’s purpose in their lives.
Why prayer for all men? In the marital home, God has placed man in the place of headship, or leadership. This leadership of the home and church can only be fruitful by example. Whilst some men are exemplifying, effective and positive role models both in the Christian community and the world at large, some keep falling and have become herectics both to themselves and to their family unit.
Why Women Praying For Men?
Instead of trying to influence or manipulate our men in order to feel secure or good about ourselves, we can trust God and pray for His will to be done. Then everybody gains; God, our men, and ourselves. With God it’s a win-win situation for all. Here are a few other reasons why we should pray for our men:
Suitable Helper
God created women to be suitable helpers to men (Gen 2:18). WPFM believe that the most effective help we can give to our men is to pray for them. Satan’s plan is for women to rebel against our God-given role of helper, considering it weak and inferior. God’s plan is for us to embrace His design for our lives and walk in authority over all that stands in our way.
Pray For Leaders
Scripture instructs us to pray for our leaders (1 Tim 2:1-4), so that we will dwell in peace. Saran’s plan is to strike the shepherd and scatter the sheep. God’s plan is for the sheep to be faithful in praying and supporting the shepherds, even when they are failing in their responsibilities.
Reversing The Curse
God declared after the fall that a woman’s desire would be for her husband, but he would rule over her (Gen 3:16). When women encounter ungodly domination, whether at home, work, church, institutions or in society in general, we are tempted to strike back with our own arsenal of ungodly responses. We refuse to live under the curse of the fall, when we choose to pray for those who hurt us (Matt 5:43-48). Satan’s plan is to divide and conquer. God’s plan is reconciliation and the blessings of unity.
Together We Stand
Many women are already praying for their men in various ways. It is our hope that women will be willing to come togehter periodically and stand together, sharing and encouraging one another. Together we are stronger (Eccl 4:9-12) And there is great power in agreement (Gen 11:6, Matt 18:19-20).
God's Secret Weapon
God has a reconciliation process going on in all areas of life. He is healing divisions between races, cultures, denominations and gender. WPFM believe we are part of what God is doing to heal the divisions in gender, especially amongst people of colour.
