Revd. Florence Kotey is the founder and coordinator of Women Praying for Men. Florence’s call from the Lord was first manifested when she was four years old. She recalls having dreams and visions. In 1997 she received a prophetic word from Dr. Sharon Stone, director of Christian International, Europe, that God had called her to gather women from various churches and institutions to pray for men and the family unit. 

In response to the call, in April 2002 the Lord commissioned Florence to begin her ministry ‘Women Praying for Men’, an intercessory ministry calling women to stand in the gap for all men, bringing the restoration of leaders, fathers, sons, and husbands to their right positions in Christ. That same year after another encounter with the Lord, the King’s Prayer School, Accra, Ghana, was formed, overseeing over 50 young people from the ages of seven to twenty-two. This was a call to re-establish intercession among the youth and young people in this generation. Florence has a heart of pure humility and seeks to serve under the kingship of the Lord Jesus, and she is very careful not to step out until released by an unction from the King. She has been set in this generation to re-establish the walls of fatherhood.
